Two highways feed into Sedona. You can use Hwy 179 that curls in from Interstate 17 or you can arrive from Cottonwood or Flagstaff on Hwy 89A. If you travel from Flagstaff via Hwy 89A, you will journey down through the twisting length of Oak Creek Canyon. During the winter, road conditions can be treacherous when it’s snowing.
